China trademark dispute service
Oppose a conflicting China trademark application
Organize the published application, current deadline, earlier rights and relevant goods or services before deciding whether to oppose.
Before any work begins
- ✓ Confirm service fit, jurisdiction, timing and conflicts
- ✓ Identify the responsible professional and needed records
- ✓ Provide separate scope, engagement terms and an Exact Quote if suitable
Sending an inquiry never authorizes payment, professional work, filing, recordal or monitoring activation.
Fit check
Is this the right service?
You found a published China application that appears close to an earlier mark or right.
A Gazette or monitoring record indicates an active publication that needs deadline review.
You need the conflict, evidence and commercial objective scoped before requesting a quote.
What we need first
- Opposing party or application number
- Publication information and current issue
- Known deadline shown by the official record
- Your earlier rights and supporting context
- Relevant classes, goods or services
Do not wait for every item. Name, email, the trademark or record, a short message and consent are enough to start.
Controlled workflow
What happens after you ask
Scope, deadline and conflict review
We first confirm the record, jurisdiction, known deadline, requested scope and whether Trademarkora can act.
Exact quote and engagement
If the matter is suitable, you receive a separate scope, exact quote and engagement terms before any substantive work begins.
Evidence and drafting
After engagement, the responsible professional identifies the evidence and prepares the appropriate filing or response materials.
Client review and submission
You review the material before any authorized submission. Starting an assessment never authorizes filing or payment.
Pricing boundary
Exact quote after jurisdiction, record, deadline, scope and conflict review
Submitting this request does not create an engagement, payment, filing or legal conclusion. Any later work requires separate terms and customer approval.
Procedure and evidence
Before choosing opposition
Use this route to assess a challenge to another party’s published application. An application still awaiting examination has not necessarily entered the opposition window. Check the official publication and the deadline first.
Prepare for an assessment
- Application number, mark image and preliminary-approval publication
- The goods or services affected and your earlier rights
- A dated account of the relationship with the applicant, if relevant
- Notices, correspondence and any deadline you have already been given
Keep the underlying records safely. Start with a short, non-confidential summary in the existing inquiry form; document handling can be agreed after the conflict check.
What this route does — and its limits
The available grounds and who may rely on them must be assessed together. Missing the opposition window can change the available procedure; sending an inquiry does not stop that clock.
If somebody has opposed your own application, use the separate opposition-response service. If the mark is already registered, compare invalidation and non-use cancellation in the guide.
Respond to an oppositionSources checked 7 September 2026 · The 2026 revision takes effect on 1 January 2027; the applicable rules and any transition must be checked for your dates.
What a later scope may include
- ✓ Initial conflict, deadline and scope screening
- ✓ Capability and conflicts check before a quote
- ✓ Separate Exact Quote and engagement if suitable
What is not included now
- — No automatic claim that the other application is unlawful
- — No evidence collection, drafting or filing before engagement
- — No promise that an opposition will succeed

Practical questions
Frequently asked questions
Can I get a fixed public price from this page?
No. Opposition work requires a conflict check and scope review before a separate Exact Quote and engagement.
Does a similar mark automatically justify an opposition?
No. Similarity, rights, goods or services, timing, evidence and applicable grounds must be assessed together.
Can a Gazette record prefill the assessment?
Yes. A future Gazette experience may pass a non-PII record ID, publication issue and deadline status without changing this route or CTA contract.
