Trademarkora provides the customer-facing trademark preparation platform. OpenPTO provides cross-border coordination. Peter Lin and his team lead trademark strategy and China trademark assessment. These roles do not imply a single worldwide professional licence.

An enquiry comes before an engagement

A free professional check or service enquiry allows the team to assess your situation and explain a next step. Submitting a request, receiving an acknowledgement or using a website tool does not create a paid engagement, authorize payment or instruct a government filing.

The engagement letter identifies the contracting party and sets out the agreed service, responsibilities, fees and relevant terms before you engage. The applicable engagement documents govern the specific paid matter, subject to applicable law. No government filing proceeds without the applicant’s approval.

Your information and instructions

Provide accurate contact, trademark, jurisdiction and business information, and tell the team about material changes. Only provide information you are entitled to share. Review the agreed scope and application documents before giving approval.

A customer-provided deadline requires verification. Sending an enquiry does not extend or protect a refusal-review, opposition or other legal deadline. Receipt of a request does not mean a renewal has been filed, ownership transferred or monitoring activated.

Search, classification and resource content

Search results, class suggestions and resource articles are preparation information. They do not constitute a complete clearance search, a final legal opinion or a guarantee of registration. The actual mark, goods, services and jurisdiction require professional consideration. See the Disclaimer for the service boundaries.

Pricing, scope and refunds

Published prices apply to the standard scope displayed with them and include the stated standard government filing fees. Work marked Exact Quote remains subject to a separately confirmed scope and quote. No additional work should be treated as agreed merely because it appears on the website.

The applicable service scope, exclusions, payment arrangements and refund terms are confirmed in the engagement materials before you proceed. These website terms do not create a new refund policy or replace the terms applicable to your engagement.

Responsible use and privacy

Use the website lawfully. Do not misuse the forms, interfere with the service, submit information without permission or attempt to access another person’s records. Information handling is explained in the Privacy notice; confidentiality and retention for client matters also follow the engagement and applicable law.

Questions and corrections

If a website statement appears inconsistent with your quote or engagement, contact the team to clarify the position before relying on it. Nothing in these website terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
